Coming Soon: The CAN. THRIVE Series: Where Mindset Meets Momentum

Starting in July (NOW AVAILABLE) we're excited to launch the CAN.THRIVE Series—a new podcast hosted by two friends on a mission to explore what it really means to thrive. It’s part conversation, part coaching, and 100% focused on helping you level up your mindset, motivation, and purpose.
Hosted by Jason Carnagie, a high-performance coach with a PhD and background in biomedical research, and Andy Bestwick, entrepreneur and founder of the Spirit of CAN. apparel brand, the podcast blends science, lived experience, and real talk to fuel your journey forward.
As Coach Jason puts it:
“We’re hanging out, talking story, and inviting ourselves—with positive vibes only—into your journey.”
And from Andy:
“Our hope is that by sharing our experiences and the stories of others, we’ll offer hope, motivation, and the inspiration to grow. Because CAN.”
Episode 1: What Does Well-being Really Mean?
The debut episode takes a thoughtful look at well-being—not just as a buzzword, but as a layered, personal pursuit.
Coach Jason opens by asking Andy how he defines well-being:
“For me, it’s about meeting those foundational needs—health, safety, love—and then pursuing purpose. It’s the process of simplifying, aligning, and giving back. And I realize how lucky I am to have the space to even consider those things.”
Coach Jason builds on the concept from a coaching perspective, reminding us that well-being isn’t just about happiness or achievement:
“So many people chase momentary stoke and miss the long-term payoff. True well-being includes positive relationships, meaning, engagement, and even the ability to just play—lose yourself in something that makes time disappear.”
Together, they unpack the tension between modern pressures and meaningful living, and why prioritizing what truly matters is both challenging and essential.
Episode 2: Fixed vs. Growth Mindset—How to Catch Yourself in the Act
The second episode shifts to something we all wrestle with—our mindset.
Coach Jason frames it clearly:
“A fixed mindset says I can’t or I’m not. Growth mindset asks, what’s possible? Most of us bounce between both—sometimes daily.”
Andy shares his personal struggle and how coaching has helped:
“Some mornings I wake up filled with CAN’T. For me, getting unstuck means momentum. Even a small win helps. Sometimes I just need to re-grom—get back to that childlike joy and stop overthinking.”
The episode also highlights a great story from a Spirit of CAN. ambassador—a middle school teacher who created an I CAN’T Jar, where students turn their “can’t” statements into something constructive. It's a perfect metaphor for the kind of reframing the series encourages.
Coach Jason closes with this powerful reminder:
“When you start identifying where you’re stuck—and ask what else could be true—you start to move. Not all at once. But you begin.”
